The GD32F3x0 series is designed for applications with ultra-low design budgets and unleashes the exceptional power of the Cortex®-M4 high-performance core. It brings a supreme valuable entry experience to replace or enhance the legacy 8-bit and 16-bit product solutions and directly upgrade to the high-speed mainstream platform based on the 32-bit Cortex®-M4 architecture.
The GD32F3x0 product series has the attributes of higher frequency, more peripherals, updated functions, and lower cost. With this "small but smart" solution, it can bring great cost-effectiveness through a lower BOM cost for cost-sensitive customers, such as industrial motors, variable-frequency drives, and energy-saving applications.
To help customers make the most of the product's advantages flexibly, the GD32F3x0 series is compatible with the full range of hardware and software of the GD32F1x0 series and GD32E230 series. Only simple operations can achieve a comprehensive upgrade in CPU, Flash features, and peripheral resources.
Based on the Cortex-M4 core, the GD32F30x product series supports high-speed DSP with a maximum frequency of up to 120MHz. It is equipped with a large capacity of 3072KB Flash and 96KB SRAM and kernel access flash memory with zero-wait. It also provides up to ten 16-bit general-purpose timers, two 16-bit basic timers, and two multi-channel DMA controllers, and it offers a number of basic peripheral resources for a wide range of mainstream applications, including up to three USARTs, two UARTs, three SPIs, two I2Cs, two I2S, two CAN 2.0B, and an SDIO, as well as an External Memory Controller (EXMC).
