Conflict Minerals Due Diligence
Conflict Minerals Commitment
Upholding the enterprise values, GigaDevice is committed to fulfilling social responsibilities within the supply chain, paying attention to the regulations on conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and adjacent countries or areas, and firmly opposing any procurement of illegal minerals that violate international regulations and human rights.
Conflict Minerals Management
GigaDevice fully considers and strictly complies with internationally recognized regulations and industry guidance frameworks, having established and implemented a supply chain due diligence system aligned with global standards. GigaDevice has issued the Conflict Minerals Due Diligence Regulation, promoted the signing of the Guarantee of Conflict Minerals Due Diligence with suppliers, organized supplier training, and adopted tools such as the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) to trace the mineral supply chain and set conflict minerals management goals. Through institutional, technical and collaborative approaches, GigaDevice ensures that all links in the supply chain comply with international standards and applicable local regulations pertaining to conflict minerals. These measures enable the effective identification and mitigation of potential risks, thereby fostering a sustainable and responsible supply chain ecosystem.
Policy on Conflict Minerals Due Diligence
GigaDevice adheres to international conventions and industry initiatives, such as the International Bill of Human Rights, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, and the Chinese Due Diligence Guidelines for Mineral Supply Chain. Upholding the enterprise values, GigaDevice is committed to assuming social responsibilities within the supply chain. We monitor regulations and compliance requirements related to conflict minerals in the regions where we operate and firmly oppose any procurement of illegal minerals that violate international regulations and human rights. The scope of conflict minerals includes, but is not limited to, tungsten (W), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta) and gold (Au), with an extended scope covering raw materials or products containing cobalt (Co) and mica.
Five-Step Framework for Supply Chain Due Diligence
Given the complexity of the conflict minerals supply chain, GigaDevice is committed to using industry-standard methods for supply chain traceability. GigaDevice conducts due diligence and risk assessments on suppliers in accordance with the methodology outlined in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, evaluating both their management systems and due diligence practices. This ensures the sustained management and monitoring of conflict mineral risks across the supply chain.

Scope of Due Diligence
Based on a comprehensive assessment of suppliers involving conflict minerals, GigaDevice has identified 17 Flash suppliers, 6 DRAM suppliers, 12 MCU suppliers, 6 PMU suppliers, and 5 Sensor suppliers. This screening covered all of the company's product lines and the raw materials involved in all end-use products, ensuring that all categories—from core components to final solutions—are included in the due diligence process. Thus, GigaDevice has achieved traceability and due diligence management across its entire product supply chain.
