Overview

GD32 high-performance MCUs use leading technology and core architecture, with higher processing power, greater storage capacity, and richer on-chip resources, to bring high-end innovative experiences to developers. High-performance products include 5 product lines, 20 product series, for industrial automation, photovoltaic energy storage, graphic display, digital power supply, motor control and other diversified application scenarios, to provide powerful computing power support for advanced innovative applications, and promote the development of embedded design to the intelligent direction.

Product Series

  • Based on the 600MHz Arm® Cortex®-M7 high-performance core, the GD32H7xx product series incorporates a variety of hardware accelerators and boasts substantial built-in high-speed storage, facilitating real-time control with both superior performance and low latency. Moreover, it offers robust security mechanisms to ensure the integrity of data during communication process. GD32H7xx series is ideally suited for a diverse range of applications such as digital signal processing, motor inverter control, power supply management, energy storage system, civilian drone, audio and video processing, graphics and imaging, as well as machine learning.

  • Based by the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, with a clock frequency of up to 216 MHz, designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 105°C. Featuring exceptional processing performance, a wide range of digital and analog interface resources, and enhanced security capabilities, can be widely applied across diverse scenarios such as digital power systems, charging stations, energy storage inverters, frequency converters, servo motors, and optical communication.

  • Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 high-performance core, with a main frequency of up to 200MHz, GD32F5xx series features a variety of mainstream peripherals, communication interfaces, and audio/video interface resources. It supports up to 7.5MB Flash and up to 2MB RWW (Read-While-Write) OTA upgrades, meeting the requirements of complex industrial systems for code upgrade and backup. Additionally, the Security Boot and Update software platform provides secure boot, secure upgrade, secure communication and other software solutions.  GD32F5xx serie also adheres to system-level IEC61508 SIL2 functional safety standards.

  • Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with main frequency of up to 240MHz, the GD32F4xx series features fast real-time processing capabilities, supporting embedded applications with high algorithm complexity. It integrates various high-performance industry-standard interfaces, providing cost-effective solutions for the connectivity needs of industrial control and IoT devices. The GD32F4xx series supports diversified application scenarios such as advanced computing, communication networks, and human-machine interfaces.

  • Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, with main frequency of up to 180MHz, GD32E5xx series products offers a 10%-20% improvement in code execution efficiency compared to existing Cortex®-M4 products on the market. It features a built-in ultra-high-precision timer, providing excellent protection and anti-interference ability, while adhering to industrial-grade high reliability and temperature standards making it ideal for a wide range of industrial control and interconnection applications.

  • Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M3 core, with main frequency of up to 120MHz, 3MB Flash and 256KB SRAM, GD32F2xx series products offers enhanced support for applications such as video imaging, liquid crystal display, memory expansion, and high-speed signal capture. GD32F2xx series also features enhanced hardware cryptographic modules and a robust security architecture.
