GigaDevice has obtained the ISO 26262 functional safety highest level ASIL D development process certification, establishing a complete functional safety management and development process that covers the entire lifecycle from product design to development, production, operation, and maintenance. It ensures that product design and development comply with international standards, significantly reducing the risk of systematic failures and random hardware failures in automotive applications.

GigaDevice has launched ASIL B certified products GD32A503 and GD32A513 series MCU, meeting the high standard requirements of the automotive. These products are fully compatible with various electrification automotive scenarios, including body domain control, body control, telecommunication interruption, lighting control, battery management, on-board chargers, chassis applications, and DC converters.

GigaDevice GD25/55 SPI NOR Flash Automotive-Grade Product Family has received ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D Automotive Functional Safety certification. The GD25/55 SPI NOR Flash Automotive-Grade Product Family is manufactured using 55nm/45nm process technology. It supports operating voltages of 3V, 1.8V, and a range from 1.65V to 3.6V, with capacities ranging from 2Mb to 2Gb, fully meeting the code storage requirements of automotive electronics. Currently, GD25/55 SPI NOR Flash Automotive-Grade Product Family are widely used by numerous domestic and international automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, serving key automotive electronics applications across a range of fields including In-Vehicle Infotainment, Intelligent Cockpits, Connected Car Systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Autonomous Driving, Battery Management System, Domain Controllers, Central Computing, Central Gateways, and Zone Control Systems.

The ASPICE assessment model, governed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), is one of the industry's most important standards for evaluating software development capability. ASPICE CL2 requires companies to adopt structured processes for project planning, monitoring, and traceability. Developed in full compliance with AUTOSAR, the GD32A7 MCAL software supports major compilers and debugging toolchains while meeting both functional-safety and cybersecurity requirements.
