Overview
GD32 Entry-Level MCUs utilize leading processes and core architectures to provide developers with enhanced processing power, larger storage capacity, and richer on-chip resources, while reducing costs. The Entry-Level product lineup includes 3 product series and 7 product lines, catering to diverse cost-sensitive application scenarios such as industrial control, motor drives, human-machine interface, power monitoring and alarm systems, consumer and handheld equipment, gaming and GPS, E-bikes and more. These products provide customers with the opportunity to replace or enhance the legacy 8-bit and 16-bit product solutions, enabling a direct upgrade to the high-speed mainstream 32-bit Cortex® architecture.

The GD32C2x1 MCU is based on the Cortex®-M23 core, with a main frequency of up to 48MHz, and features efficient processing capabilities such as single-cycle multiplication and integer division operations. Equipped with 32KB~64KB Flash and 12KB SRAM, it offers multiple packaging options including TSSOP20, QFN28, and LQFP48, and supports a wide voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V and an industrial-grade temperature range of -40℃~105℃. It integrates a wealth of peripheral resources, including up to four general-purpose 16-bit timers, one 16-bit advanced timer, two high-speed SPI interfaces, two I2C interfaces, and up to 45 GPIOs in the 48-pin package.
It is particularly suitable for applications such as small household appliance control, BMS battery management systems, small display devices, portable consumer electronics, industrial auxiliary control systems, and automotive aftermarket equipment.

The GD32E23x series of MCUs incorporates the ARM® Cortex®-M23 32-bit processor core operating at up to 72 MHz frequency. It provides up to 128KB embedded Flash and up to 16KB SRAM. The GD32E23x series of MCUs is ideal for industrial control, motor drives, human-machine interface, power monitor and alarm systems, consumer and handheld equipment, gaming and GPS, and E-bikes applications.

The GD32F3x0 series is designed for applications with constrained design budgets. It provides customers with the opportunity to replace or enhance the legacy 8-bit and 16-bit product solutions, enabling a direct upgrade to the high-speed mainstream 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 architecture. It is ideal for industrial motors, variable-frequency drives, and energy-saving applications.To help customers fully utilize the product’s advantages, the GD32F3x0 series is compatible with the full range of hardware and software of the GD32F1x0 series and GD32E230 series.

The GD32F1x0 product series incorporates the Arm® Cortex®-M3 32-bit processor core operating at up to 72 MHz with zero-wait Flash access to obtain maximum efficiency. It provides up to 64 KB on-chip Flash memory and up to 8 KB SRAM memory. The GD32F1x0 product series is ideal for industrial control, motor drives, user interface, power monitor and alarm systems, consumer and handheld equipment, gaming and GPS, and E-bike applications.
