Overview

The GD32A74x series is an automotive-grade microcontroller family based on a 160MHz lockstep Cortex®-M7 core, featuring mature integration of in-house developed IP to deliver high computing reliability, system robustness, and optimized performance for safety-critical automotive applications.

Designed for the high level of functional safety, the series supports ISO 26262 ASIL-D compliance, making it suitable for safety-relevant automotive systems. It integrates advanced security capabilities, including EVITA-Full support and Chinese commercial cryptographic algorithms such as SM2, SM3, and SM4, providing strong protection for in-vehicle data and communication.

The GD32A74x offers rich automotive connectivity, supporting up to 8x CAN FD, 12x LIN, 6x USART/LIN, and 1x Ethernet interfaces, enabling flexible and scalable in-vehicle networking architectures. It also features a wide 2.97V to 5.5V supply range to support diverse automotive power environments.

The series provides ESD and EFT protection to support safety and reliability in automotive applications. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and certified to IATF 16949:2016 standards, adhering to a zero-defect quality philosophy.
