Overview

The GD32A72x series is a dual-core automotive microcontroller family based on two 160MHz Cortex®-M7 cores, featuring mature integration of in-house developed IP to deliver high performance, efficient system coordination, and design flexibility for advanced automotive applications.

The series supports ISO 26262 ASIL-B compliance, and integrates advanced security capabilities, including EVITA-Full support and Chinese commercial cryptographic algorithms such as SM2, SM3, and SM4, ensuring robust system-level protection.

It provides rich automotive communication interfaces, supporting up to 8x CAN FD, 12x LIN, 6x USART/LIN, and 1x Ethernet, enabling flexible and scalable in-vehicle network architectures. A wide 2.97V to 5.5V supply range enhances system adaptability across different automotive power domains.

The series provides ESD and EFT protection for reliable operation in automotive applications. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and certified to IATF 16949:2016, adhering to a zero-defect quality philosophy.
