Overview
The GD32W515 series of MCUs is based on the latest Arm® Cortex®-M33 core and integrates a 2.4 GHz single-stream IEEE 802.11 b/g/n MAC, baseband, and RF transceiver on-chip. It incorporates Arm® TrustZone® technology to provide a secure execution environment for trusted applications.
The GD32W515 series delivers leading baseband and RF performance, with a maximum transmit power of up to 21 dBm, receiver sensitivity of –97.6 dBm, and a total link budget of 118.6 dBm. It also offers excellent interference immunity, with adjacent channel rejection (ACR) up to 48 dB, providing robust protection against strong signal interference and ensuring stable signal reception. The series supports high data throughput, achieving up to 50 Mbps Iperf throughput and up to 80 Mbps under laboratory conditions. The fully integrated RF module reduces external component count, simplifying design and lowering overall BOM cost.
The GD32W515 series operates at up to 180 MHz and provides up to 2048 KB of Flash memory and 448 KB of SRAM, with support for up to 32 MB of external Flash. It supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.6 V to 3.6 V, and I/O pins are 5 V tolerant. The device operates in an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for a wide range of wireless and IoT applications.
