GigaDevice to Present MCU and Flash Technologies for System-Level Embedded Design at DesignCon 2026

GigaDevice will showcase facial and voice recognition solutions powered by its high-performance GD32H7 general purpose MCU series. The voice recognition solution utilizes the Sensory engine for keyword training, supporting multiple keywords and languages. The facial recognition solution adopts the open-source Swift Yolo model, achieving a mean average precision of 97.9% and a single inference time of 77 ms on the GD32H759 development board.
Consumer Applications
For consumer-focused designs, GigaDevice will demonstrate a TWS earbuds charging management solution based on the GD32E230 Cortex-M23 MCU, integrating battery charging control, communication with earbuds, and temperature protection within a compact architecture.
In addition, a portable smart keyboard solution built on the low-power GD32L235 MCU series highlights efficient input processing, expanded function keys, and feature support such as voice assistant wake-up and backlight control. These demonstrations reflect practical power management and peripheral integration considerations in portable consumer electronics.
Motor Control
The GD32 FOC motor control demonstration showcases efficient motor drive implementation across a wide input voltage range. Supporting advanced current sampling methods and sensor-based positioning, the solution integrates control algorithms and protection mechanisms designed to enhance reliability in motion-control and industrial environments.
