Commercial & Utility-Scale DC Energy Storage

This architecture diagram illustrates the overall control topology of commercial and utility-scale DC energy storage systems. The core of the system is the Main Control BAU, equipped with GD32VW553-MINI wireless module to connect to cloud platforms via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The BAU communicates with EMS (Energy Management System) through CAN/Ethernet, links to PCS (Power Conversion System) over CAN bus, and controls multiple battery clusters downward via CAN/EtherCAT industrial bus. Each battery cluster contains a High-Voltage Box BCU, which is cascaded with multiple BMU (Battery Monitoring Units) to collect real-time voltage and temperature data of single battery cells. This layered framework realizes cloud remote monitoring, energy dispatch, power conversion and hierarchical battery management. High-speed industrial buses ensure real-time data transmission for large-capacity energy storage equipment, making the solution applicable to commercial and grid-side DC energy storage power stations.
