The GD32W515 series of MCUs use the Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, integrated with a 2.4GHz single-stream IEEE802.11b/g/n MAC/Baseband/RF radio frequency module on-chip. This Wi-Fi MCU series has a maximum transmit power of 21dBm, a signal receiving sensitivity of -97.6dBm, and a total link budget of 118.1dBm to provide leading class baseband and radio frequency performance. It also has a superior interference immunity with an adjacent channel rejection (ACR) as high as 48dB, which can effectively prevent strong signal interference and improve the stability of signal reception.
The GD32W515 series of MCUs provides a maximum frequency of 180MHz and is equipped with up to 2048KB eFlash, 32MB EXT Flash, and 448KB SRAM, as well as an extensive range of enhanced I/O ports and peripheral interfaces connected to two APB buses. Other features include a 12-bit ADC, four general-purpose 16-bit timers, two general-purpose 32-bit timers, a basic timer, a PWM advanced timer, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces. Additional peripherals include TrustZone control unit (TZPCU), digital camera interface (DCI), touch sensing interface (TSI), and Quad SPI interface (QSPI). The MCU series adds a new high-performance digital filter (HPDF) dedicated to external Σ-Δ modulation to achieve high-precision audio signal processing.
The GD32W515 series of MCUs supports the TrustZone mechanism enabling hardware-level device protection that provides users with a powerful and secure development platform. This series also has officially passed the PSA Level One, PSA Functional API certification of the Arm platform security architecture.
